Batman: Knightfall

Two-sided Batman/Azrael Window Display

In 1993, DC Comics gave their other main hero, Batman, a serious facelift when Bruce Wayne is crippled in battle with the villain called Bane and replaced by fellow hero Azrael.

I designed a window display to advertise this major event.

I also designed a companion set of counter dumps.

This display is two sided. Facing outside is the armored Azrael/Batman while facing inwards is the classic Batman.

I designed the display for easy mounting. His cape is sandwiched between the two sides of his body to do double duty as a part of both costumes. His arms are hinged so that they can fold down for transport.
